Seniors Open Turkey Shoot
The Seniors section held its annual turkey shoot on 19th October and it was a great success. The weather was extremely kind to us and the recent work to the green didn't detract too much from the enjoyment. A large field of 48 pairs, included more than 20 pairs of visitors, special thanks must go to Pike Fold with around 30 of their members attending. It was a very close run result with the actual winners coming from the contribution of a Ghost Score, well it is nearly Halloween.

*Due a last minute withdrawal D Kenney left without partner, a ghost (Davd Foulner) was allocated before play and his score included with Dave Kenney, Dave Foulner received only one prize.
Thanks to all who took part and to Lynn Wild for her support and to Chris Stuttard, Frank Hauxwell, Jim Cleary and SL Patel for their efforts during the day. Also mention to the bar and kitchen staff who stayed open until the last players came in.
