Congratulations to the Blackley Teams who had a great week in the Manchester and District Golf Alliance Knockouts and the Manchester and District Ladies Golf Association.
This started on Wednesday when the Seniors won away at Bury in the Seniors Team Matchplay.
The Ladies won their Bell Cup match against Heaton Moor.
The Blackley Dunham Forest team won Friday in extremely testing conditions at home to beat Blackburn.
Finally the Mixed Archie Preston Team pulled off a tremendous victory away at Alderley Edge the game going to the final match and Mike Smith and Kath Ruddy triumphing on the final hole.
Lets hope the Blackley City Glass team prevail away on Saturday to Oldham which will give us a clean sweep.
