Safeguarding

Blackley Golf Club takes the safety and welfare of young people and vulnerable adults very seriously and is committed to following the safeguarding protocols and procedures laid down by the English Golf Union.

Any person who is involved in the coaching of young people will have been screened and checked before they are allowed to take part in any coaching sessions.

Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service checks will carried out for anyone fitting the criteria of regulated activity, that criteria being: Coaching unsupervised at least once per week, or transporting young people at least once per week, or acting as a chaperone for young people which includes an overnight period.


Welfare Officer

The welfare officer to report any concerns or issues about the safety and wellbeing of children,young people and adults at the club  is Darren Tickle
